		The
		effectiveness of Pu'er tea:

		There are
about 20 kinds of the effectiveness of Pu'er tea in the modern research,
that is, weight-loss, fat-reducing, prevention of atherosclerosis,
prevention of coronary heart disease, lowering blood pressure,
anti-aging, anti-cancer, hypoglycemia, antibacterial action and
anti-inflammation, treating diarrhea, relieving the hurt from the
tobacco, reducing heavy metals, anti-radiation, exciting the central
nerves, diuresis, anti-caries, improving the eyesight, nourishing and
protecting the stomach, helping digestion, anti-toxin, sterilization,
preventing constipation, anti-alcohol, and so on. There are some kinds
of effectiveness related to the central nerves, such as the central
nerve related to less sleep, the diuresis related to detoxification, and
so on. There are some introductions to the main effectiveness of the tea
		in the following.

		1.
		Weight-loss, fat-reducing, prevention of arteriosclerosis

		TP (tea
		polyphenols)
inhibits the increasing cholesterol and triglyceride (the main
ingredients of the blood fat) and promotes the fat compounds discharged
from bowel movement. It can give play to the flexibility of capillary
wall. Therefore, it can also play an important role in the prevention of
		atherosclerosis sclerosis, hypertension and obesity.

		Obesity is
always resulted from metabolic disorders and the excessive accumulation
		of the metabolism.
The slimming effects of tea are due to the comprehensive effects of tea
		polyphenols, chlorophyll and vitamin C.

		Since tea
polyphenols can eliminate the fat and remove the greasiness, chlorophyll
can hinder digestion and absorption of the cholesterol, and vitamin C
can promote the role of cholesterol excretion. Therefore, tea diet can
achieve the desired effect to lose weight.

		Fat-reducing
(also known as the hypolipidemic), is to reduce the cholesterol in the
blood and control high blood lipid (or hyperlipidemia). Because obesity
is often accompanied by increasing cholesterol, the slimming effects of
tea also play a role in reducing fat.

		The tea
polyphenols in tea can not only eliminate fat but also significantly
curb plasma and the increasing cholesterol in the liver and inhibit
		sclerosis
		of the
arterial wall. The research of Professor Lou Fuqing shows that tea
pigment (catechin from oxidation) has a significant role in
		anti-coagulation, promoting fibrinolysis, preventing the
		conglutination of the
		platelet
		and
inhibiting proliferation of the arterial smooth muscle cells.

		2. Preventing
		coronary heart disease

		Coronary
heart disease is also known as coronary atherosclerotic heart disease.
Tea plays an effective role in preventing coronary heart disease.
According to the statistics, the incidence rate of coronary heart
disease among people without drinking tea is 3.1 percent; the incidence
rate of coronary heart disease among people with the occasional tea
reduces to 2.3%; while the incidence rate of coronary heart disease
among people with regular tea (having drunk tea more than three years)
is only 1.4 percent. In addition, the aggravating coronary heart disease
is related to insufficiency of supporting the blood of the coronary
artery and thrombosis. The catechin in TP (tea polyphenols) and phenol
will form the tea pigment in the course of being fried and cooked, which
plays a significant role in anticoagulant, promoting fibrinolysis and
		anti-thrombosis.

		3.
		Lowering blood pressure

		Hypertension
		(high blood pressure)
refers to the increasing systolic pressure or
		diastolic pressure which
		exceeds
the normal level. Arteriosclerosis not only leads to coronary heart
disease, but also is related to hypertension closely. The tea
polyphenols, vitamin C and vitamin P in the tea are the active
ingredients to prevent hypertension. Especially the function of the tea
polyphenols to the incidence of capillaries and the obvious inhibited
effect of catechin compounds and theaflavins to the transformation of
the angiotensin I of the blood vessels can directly lower blood
		pressure.

		4.
		Anti-aging

		The lipid
peroxidation process has proved to be one of the mechanisms of human
aging, using some vitamin C with compounds of oxidation. Vitamin E can
delay aging. Tea not only has much vitamin C and vitamin E, but also tea
polyphenol in the tea plays an important role. Research by the Japanese
scholar shows that vitamin E that is always regarded as anti-aging
medicine only has 4 percent of anti-oxidation, while green tea because
of containing tea polyphenols has more than 74 percent of antioxidant
effects. In addition, the amino acids and microelement in the tea have a
		certain effect of anti-aging.

		5.
		Anti-cancer

		Anti-cancer
effect of the tea generally refers to the prevention of various
malignant tumors. The Chinese Academy of Preventive Medicine has done a
research on more than 140 kinds of tea. The scientific experiments and
the large amounts of data certainly show the anti-cancer and
anti-mutagenic effects of the tea. It mainly plays a blocking role in
		the formation of nitroso compounds.

		The
polyphenol compounds and catechin in the tea can activate the
carcinogenic enzyme. It also plays a role in the carcinogenic
metabolites to change its activity, and thus lessens the initiation and
promotion of the original carcinogenic genes. So that it eventually
reduce the number of carcinogens. After compared with a relatively large
number of people, it also proves that people drink tea more often with
lower rate of the cancer incidence.

		6. Nourishing
		and protecting the stomach

		In the appropriate
concentration, there is no stimulating effect on Pu'er tea drinking.
After the viscous, sweet, heavy Pu'er tea into the stomach, it will form
the gastrointestinal membrane attached to the surface of the stomach,
which will have a beneficial layer to protect the stomach. Therefore,
long-term drinking Pu'er tea can play a significant role in nourishing
		and protecting the stomach.

		7. Helping digestion

		The caffeine
and flavanol compounds in the tea can increase the peristalsis of the
digestive tract, which will help the food to be digested.

		8. Fortifying and protecting the teeth

		Pu'er tea
contains many physiological active ingredients, which play the role in
sterilization and disinfection. Professor Cao Jin from Hunan Medical
University has done a research on Pu'er tea and found that Pu'er tea has
the role of inhibiting the formation of the bacterial plaque. It will be
the best effect when the concentration is 1%.

		9.
		Anti-alcohol

		When the
liver is in the process of hydrolysis alcohol, it needs vitamin C as
catalyst, which is helpful to anti-alcohol. While drinking tea can
supplement vitamin C, which is conducive to the detoxification of the
alcohol in the liver. On the other hand, the diuretic effect of the
caffeine in the tea makes alcohol in the condition of the central of the
brain, and thus it plays a role in anti-alcohol.

		10. Diuresis

		Modern research shows that
the caffeine and theophylline in the green tea through the microvascular
of the kidneys increase blood flow of the kidneys and inhibit the
re-absorption of water of renal tubular and other mechanisms. Therefore,
it plays a significant role in the diuresis.

		11.
Anti-inflammation, antibacterial action and treating diarrhea

		The research and
clinical trials of the Chinese medical sector show that Pu'er tea has
antibacterial action. Taking heavy tea juice 10 times a day can treat
bacillary dysentery, which is directly related to Yunnan dayezhong tea
		with rich polyphenols.

			Making pu'er tea:
			1) Temperature of water: 100<C (boiling)
			2) The proportion of tea to water is 1:50
			3) Water: pure water or spring water
			4) Over-boiled water may reduce the oxygen, which will influence the
activation (and flavor) of the tea
			5) Steps:
			    a) Preparation: prepare the utensils and the pu'er tea
			        i) Warm and clear the utensil: pour boiled water into the
			utensil
ii) Place the pu'er tea into the utensil
			    b) Wetting: pour the boiled water into the tea pot
			    c) Steeping: steep the tea for a reasonable time
			    d) Filling: sift the tea leaves and pour tea into cups
